Vibe Auto Recruitment is seeking a Parts Advisor on behalf of our client

Vibe Auto Recruitment is currently looking for an experienced Parts Advisor to join our client's team on a temporary basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong automotive parts knowledge and customer service skills to contribute to the smooth operation of a busy parts department.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Parts Identification & Sales: Assist customers (internal and external) in identifying, sourcing, and recommending automotive parts.
  • Customer Service: Provide expert advice and deliver high-quality customer service, ensuring a positive experience for all customers.
  • Inventory Management: Assist with stock checks, ensure parts are accurately logged in the system, and keep inventory records up to date.
  • Order Processing: Handle incoming orders, process parts requests, and liaise with suppliers to arrange timely deliveries.
  • Parts Storage & Distribution: Organize and store automotive parts efficiently, ensuring they are easily accessible for the team.
  • Parts Inquiries: Handle phone and email inquiries related to parts availability, pricing, and delivery times.
  • System Updates: Ensure parts records are accurately updated in the inventory management system and assist with stock replenishment.
  • General Department Support: Support the parts team with any other ad-hoc duties as required to ensure the smooth running of the department.


Key Requirements:

  • Experience: Previous experience as a Parts Advisor or in a similar role within the automotive industry is essential.
  • Product Knowledge: Strong knowledge of automotive parts, tools, and systems.
  • Customer Service Skills: Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide exceptional customer service and resolve issues effectively.
  • IT Skills: Comfortable using parts management software and general office applications (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google Suite).
  • Team Player: Ability to work well in a team environment and under pressure in a fast-paced setting.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, especially when managing stock and processing orders.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work in a temporary capacity with a flexible approach to tasks.
