Bury Council are seeking a skilled Wetroom Fitter to join their Constuction team. This role involves comprehensive Wetroom installations, including pipework alterations, plastering, joinery, tiling, and floor screeding. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bathroom fitting and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
Day-to-day of the role:- Remove existing bathroom installations and alter pipework as necessary.
- Install level deck trays to both wood and concrete floors.
- Perform patch plastering and Dot & Dab to walls to prepare surfaces for finishing.
- Conduct minor joinery tasks as part of the installation process.
- Tile areas up to 10sqm to a high standard, ensuring finish and alignment are precise.
- Execute floor screeding to ensure level and durable flooring surfaces.
- Proven experience as a Wetroom Fitter or similar role in bathroom installations.
- Proficient in various fitting tasks including plumbing, plastering, joinery, tiling, and screeding.
- Ability to read and interpret installation plans and technical drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality finishes.
