Job Description: Year 6 Class Teacher

Overview:Prospero Teaching is currently recruiting for a qualified and passionate Year 3 Teacher to join a Primary School in Bury. The successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate excellent classroom management skills and provide engaging and effective teaching that meets the diverse needs of all students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Planning and Delivery: Create and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the national curriculum and cater to the varying needs of students.
  • Classroom Management: Maintain a positive and structured classroom environment, employing effective behaviour management strategies to promote learning and respect.
  • Assessment and Feedback: Regularly assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance learning outcomes. Use assessment data to inform future planning and interventions.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with fellow teachers, support staff, and leadership to ensure a cohesive approach to teaching and learning across the school.
  • Parent Communication: Establish effective communication with parents and guardians regarding student progress, behaviour, and any concerns, fostering a strong home-school partnership.
  • Professional Development: Engage in ongoing professional development opportunities and participate in staff meetings and training sessions to enhance your teaching practice.
  • Safeguarding: Uphold and promote the school's safeguarding policies, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for all students.
