Tradewind need an experienced Teaching Assistant to work in a lovely Primary School in Bury. The role is working 1:1 with a SEND child in Year 4 who has Autism. The position starts immediately, and the pay rate will be £85 to £95 per day, depending on experience. It is a full-time and long-term position. The school is a dynamic and exciting place to work, led by a charismatic head and supportive staff.

You will be responsible for supporting the child with their classwork, helping them join in with class activities and offering them tailored help to ensure that they feel supported and progress accordingly. Any prior experience working with SEN children will be very beneficial.

To succeed in this role, you will:

  • Have experience working with SEND needs.
  • Previously have worked with SEN children.
  • Be subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional references checks
  • Provide a CV with full employment/education history included and any employment breaks must be explained
  • Have the legal right to work in the UK
