Job Advertisement: Business Teacher (Full-Time)

- Salary: £150 - £220 per day, depending on experience and qualifications
Empowering Learning are currently seeking a dedicated and qualified Business Teacher to join an esteemed independent day school with a proud 450 year history of academic excellence.
The position will be covering from January 2025 to July 2025. We are looking for an enthusiastic educator with a strong background in teaching Business Studies up to KS5 students (ages 11-18). The ideal candidate should hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have experience in teaching Business Studies; please note that applications from Early Career Teachers (ECTs) will not be considered for this role.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver engaging and effective lessons in Business Studies to a diverse group of senior school students.
- Inspire students to develop a strong understanding of business concepts and prepare them for academic assessments.
- Contribute to the school community by supporting school events and participating in extracurricular activities.
- Uphold and promote the values and ethos of Bury Grammar School.
- Qualifications: Must have QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).
- DBS Check: A valid DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) certificate or a willingness to obtain one before starting.
- Experience: Proven experience in teaching Business Studies up to KS5 level
- Skills: Strong classroom management, excellent communication, and a passion for teaching.
