Design and Technology teacher (Graphics) - Bury - ASAP Prospero Teaching are seeking a qualified, passionate and dedicated teacher of Design and Technology, in particular Graphics, to join a school in Bury. The role will start ASAP and will be on an ongoing full time basis until July 2025. It is essential that you hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have recent experience teaching in the Design and Technology department at a secondary school in the UK. The successful candidate will be able to provide exceptional support to students, demonstrate good behaviour and classroom assistance/management. You will also need to be available to attend parents evenings, and departmental meetings as and when required. CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS Location Bury Position Design Technology Teacher Start date ASAP End date July 2025 Full time Minimum rate of pay GBP162.31 per day Hours 8:30AM 4 PM EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS QTS, QTLS, PGCE, or equivalent Previous experience working in a UK school Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (essential, however training can be provided) Up to date prevent awareness training issued in the last 3 years (essential, however, training can be provided) Up to date FGM & behaviour management training (essential, training can be provided) Design and Technology UK Teaching experience TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST: Hold Right to Work in the UK Hold an enhanced DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to obtain a new one Provide two professional references If you would like to be considered for this role, please apply with a copy of your up to date CV today.
