KS3/4 Resistant Materials job - Bury - ASAP Prospero Teaching are supporting a secondary school in Bury to recruit for a qualified D&T who specialises in resistant materials with QTS to join them as soon as possible, on an ongoing basis, likely to be until July 2025. It is essential that applicants are qualified to teach resistant materials and are able to teach key stage 3 & 4 students. This school is a popular school within the authority and welcomes new staff and make them feel part of the team from the very beginning. You will be required to plan and deliver lessons, mark work and provide regular feedback to students to guide them on their progress. CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS Location Bury Position Design Technology Teacher Start date ASAP End date July 2025 Full time Minimum rate of pay GBP162.31 per day Hours 8:15AM 4PM EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS QTS, QTLS, PGCE, or equivalent Previous experience teaching design & technology in a UK school (resistant materials) Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (essential, however training can be provided) Up to date prevent awareness training & FGM issued in the last 3 years (essential, however, training can be provided) TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST: Hold Right to Work in the UK Hold an enhanced DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to obtain a new one Provide a minimum of two professional references If you would like to be considered for this role, please apply with a copy of your up to date CV today.
