Teachwise is currently looking for an experienced MathsTutor to work on a part-time basis at a secondary school in the Bury area. The role will involve working on a 1-1 basis with pupils in year 9 and year 10, helping and supporting them with their Mathswork.
You will need to have previous experience working as a Mathstutor to secondary age pupils either from within a school or similar setting. The role will be based partly within the school withsome online tuition work available as well.
The position will start after Easter and will continue on a part-time basis until further notice. The tuition sessions will be in blocks of 3 hours.
Key Requirements:
- Previous experience tutoring secondary age pupils in Maths
- Ability to work on a 1-1 basis
- Familiarity with the Mathscurriculum
- Able to provide own resources
- Hold right to work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced DBS certificate on the update service
- Available from after Easter on a part-time basis
