�? Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) - Prestwich Primary School �?Start Date: September 2025 | Contract: Full Time / Term Time Only | Salary: Dependent on Experience

We are looking for a committed and compassionate Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our friendly and inclusive primary school in Prestwich. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our pupils - particularly those with Special Educational Needs (SEN).

As an HLTA, you will work closely with teachers and the SENCO to deliver high-quality support across the school, including delivering interventions, leading whole-class sessions, and providing targeted 1:1 or small group support for children with a range of additional needs.

???�? Key Responsibilities:
  • Supporting teaching and learning across all year groups, with a particular focus on SEN provision

  • Planning and delivering tailored interventions and activities

  • Leading lessons in the absence of the class teacher

  • Working collaboratively with staff, parents, and external professionals

  • Promoting inclusion and ensuring every child is supported to achieve their potential

? We're Looking For Someone Who:
  • Holds HLTA status or is working towards qualification (essential)

  • Has experience supporting children with SEN, including autism, ADHD, and social/emotional needs

  • Is adaptable, patient, and passionate about inclusive education

  • Has excellent communication and organisational skills

  • Is a positive role model with a nurturing and proactive attitude
