Job Title: Behaviour Support Worker
Location: Bury
Salary: £100 - £120 per day
We are currently seeking a Behaviour Support Worker to join a SEMH provision in Bury. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals looking to make a positive impact on the lives of young people with social, emotional, and mental health needs.
Experience in a similar role is desired but not essential, as full training will be provided. The successful candidate will have a passion for working with young people and be able to demonstrate patience, empathy, and understanding in challenging situations.

Providing one-to-one support to students with behavioural difficultiesImplementing behaviour management strategiesSupporting students with their emotional and mental health needsWorking closely with teachers and other professionals to create a positive learning environment

Strong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to remain calm under pressureA flexible and adaptable approach to workA genuine interest in supporting young people with SEMH needs
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide two professional child related references that cover the last two years
