Children’s Advanced Practitioner, BuryPay rate, £40 per hourJob purpose: - To ensure high quality practice and effective management of risk and need.To provide effective and high quality professional social work to children and families in accordance with legislation, national, regional and local statutory guidance, policies and proceduresTo work within a multi-agency Setting utilising strength-based practice and motivational interviewing techniques to work with families and support them to make change. To support less experienced workers in the embedding of these key social work principles.To manage a complex case load of children who are subject to CIN, CP, pre-proceedings, care proceedings and private proceedings.To work with stakeholders to effectively manage, assess and plan for present and future risk situations of service users by assessing the needs of individual children’s families, foster carers and adopters by drawing on their experiences and voices, and ensuring links to current practice, research and theoretical bases to inform care planning.  Significantly contribute to the development and implementation of high-quality social work practice within the service.Please contact Molly Rylance on or email for more information.
