SALARY: £30,000 - £37,000 per annum

JOB OVERVIEW
We have a fantastic new job opportunity for an IOT Software Developerwho has development experience using C / C++, JavaScript, Node Red, HTML, CSS, Python and Rest APIs.
Working as the IOT Software Developer you will deliver the companys cloud solutions in line with the product and technology development roadmaps.
Reporting directly to the Head of Technology and as part of the IoT team, as the IOT Software Developer you will spend the majority of your time developing new features and capabilities for IoT solutions, in addition to carrying out maintenance activities and supporting the continuous improvement to how the company operates.
As the IOT Software Developer youll work alongside project management and hardware engineers to break down complex problems and features, and deliver solutions within agreed timescales.
As a successful candidate you will work in a collaborative and supportive environment which will enable you to excel in your responsibilities, while also providing opportunities for mentorship and guidance to help you develop.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
As the IOT Software Developer you will have the following skills and experience:
- Degree/HNC/HND in Computer Science or similar
- Experience with the following relevant programming languages / frameworks: C / C++, JavaScript, Node Red, HTML, CSS, Python, REST APIs
- Experience with database management and design
- Ability to design scalable and maintainable systems
DESIRABLE SKILLS
- Ability to develop backend and frontend / Full Stack solutions
- Familiar with cloud services (Azure / AWS)
- Familiar with CI/CD tools and best practices
- Knowledge of IoT protocols: MQTT, RS485, LAN/WAN, LORa, Wifi Bluetooth
- Knowledge of / experience in data analytics
- Knowledge of / experience with automated testing
