Sonic Summary

We are looking for an experienced Software Developer to join a Multi Award Winning business near Bury.
The ideal candidate should have strong commercial experience in PHP and Laravel, along with knowledge of HTML, CSS, JSON, and SQL skills.
The role requires at least 3 years of experience and offers a salary of £45,000 to £55,000 per year.
Responsibilities include contributing to the application development lifecycle, resolving incidents, and assisting with user acceptance testing.
After an initial period, the position will follow a hybrid model of 2 days in the office and 3 days remote.

We are seeking an experienced Software Developer to join a Multi Award Winning business located near Bury. The role:You will work in a growing team and have strong technical knowledge whilst being a natural problem solver with a great attention to detail.Main Responsibilities:

Contribute to all phases of the application development lifecycle
Identify potential improvement opportunities
Ensure all business applications are supported to a high standard.
Incidents, requests and problems are resolved within a timely manner
Contributes ideas and efforts towards the development and delivery of service improvement initiatives and related software development projects
Help conduct live releases for all business applications
Provide on-call support for business-critical applications requiring extended support
Assist with user acceptance testing
Contribute to code reviews using GitHub pull requests

Skills ·

Strong commercial experience in PHP and Laravel
Experience in HTML, CSS (Tailwind and Bootstrap frameworks), JSON · SQL skills (MySQL and SQL Server)
Experience using Vue 2/3 and JavaScript (jQuery)
Git and basic Linux knowledge
Microservice architecture knowledge beneficial
Good communicator with all management levels and stakeholders alike
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Confident, self-disciplined and autonomous
Organised with good time management

Please note, after an initial period you will be working of a hybrid model – 2 days in the office and 3 days remote.
