Learning Support Assistant

Prospero Teaching are seeking a confident and knowledgeable Learning Support Assistant join a successful specialist secondary school in Bury. The role is full-time, to start in November and will continue to the end of this academic year.

This role will involve:

• Providing specific support and interventions for children across all curriculum areas
• Leading groups in activities in core curriculum areas such as Phonics, Reading, Maths and Writing
• Working with individuals on learning and development activities
• Preparing resources and areas within the setting
• Carrying out assessments and recording information
• Ensuring a calm, purposeful environment and careful adherence to daily routines
• Liaising with parents

• Full-time, 8:30am to 3:30pm daily

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE WITH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

- Hold Right to Work in the UK- Hold an Enhanced DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application at a cost of £45.80 if you don't already have one- Provide two professional references covering the past 2 years

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
• Provide two professional child related references that cover the last two years
