Learning Support Assistant - Bury: Prospero Teaching are looking for a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to work at a lovely primary school in Bury for those aged 5-11 years old with complex needs.

You will provide support to pupils in small groups or on a 1-1 basis. You should have previous experience supporting primary aged pupils with complex needs. You should also be confident in effectively managing behaviour.

Experience, Training & Qualifications:

  • Up to date Safeguarding training within the last year (desirable but training can be provided)
  • Previous experience working as in a support role is essential
  • Previous experience managing behaviour effectively
  • Team Teach Qualification would be highly desirable

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional references
