SEN TA - Bury (BL9)

Monarch Education are working in association with a local primary school in the Bury area. The school are looking to hire a Teaching Assistant to work full time with an autistic (ASC) pupil in Year 3 (LKS2). This role will be commencing in April and will be working with the pupil on a 1:1 basis, as well as providing general classroom assistance when needed until the end of the academic year 2025.

The ideal candidate will:

Have experience with Autism - either professionally or personally e.g. a family member
Be resilient and confident with challenging behaviour
Have a nurturing personality and be non-judgemental
Be able to follow instructions and be pro-active
Adhere to the school safeguarding policies
Have a passion to work with children
Previous experience working in a Primary School is desired but not essential

Requirements for SEN Teaching Assistant

Have previous experience of working with special educational needs or in care
Able to travel daily to Bury (BL9) area
Have a child DBS registered to the update service or be willing to complete one
Have right to work in the UK.
