Sen Teaching Assistant

Sennen Education are recruiting for a SEN teaching assistant to joinexcellent primary and secondaryschools in Bury. The role will be supporting a variety of children who have SEND including Autism and ADHD.

Sennen Education specialises in long term, permanent and daily supply roles for education and school staff.

To join us and be successful in this SEND Teaching Assistant Role, you will need:

• A minimum of six weeks UK experience of supporting young people.
• Enhanced DBS certificate (or be happy to pay for a new one)
• Provide a CV with up to date employment/education history included and any employment breaks must be explained
• Have the legal right to work in the UK

The ideal Teaching Assistant should:

• Have good time management and know how to multitask
• Be flexible and patient
• Adapt instructional materials and techniques to meet the specific needs of each student.
• Be able to communicate effectively within a team
• Be able to work full time
• Undertake duties as directed by teaching staff or head of rooms.
• Create a positive and nurturing learning environment that promotes engagement and motivation.
