SEN TA - Bury:

Prospero Teaching are looking for a teaching assistant to join an excellent primary school near Bury, supporting a year 2 pupil 1-1. Previous experience supporting children with SEN and effective behaviour management techniques are essential.

Position Details:

  • Position: 1-1 SEN TA
  • Hours: 8am-3pm
  • Minimum rate of pay: £85 per day, depending on experience
  • Type of work: Temporary
  • Full time/full time: Full time only
  • Start date: Jan 2025
  • End date: Ongoing

Experience, Training & Qualifications:

  • Previous experience supporting pupils in an educational setting
  • Level 2 Teaching Assistant Qualification
  • Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills
  • The ability to build positive relationships with students, staff and parents
  • Effective communication with teachers to track student's progress

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional child related references that cover the last two years
