Job Title: Behaviour Support Worker

Salary: £85-£90 per day

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behaviour Support Worker to join our team at a Primary school located in Bury. As a Special Needs Consultant, we understand the critical role that behaviour support plays in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment for students with social, emotional, and mental health challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-to-one support to students with SEMH needs, fostering a positive and nurturing relationship.
  • Implement behaviour support plans designed by the school's SENCO and other relevant professionals.
  • Assist in the development and delivery of tailored interventions to address individual students' behavioural challenges.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external agencies to ensure a holistic approach to student support.
  • Contribute to the creation of a positive and safe learning environment.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children and young people with social, emotional, and mental health challenges.
  • Understanding of behaviour management strategies and the ability to implement personalized behaviour support plans.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting individuals with special educational needs.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant experience in a similar role or a background in special education.

Salary:

  • The salary for this role is £85-£95 per day, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
