Job Title: Specialist Speech and Language Therapist

Pay Rates - Day: 拢19.10

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced speech and language therapist to join a well established team within the Northern Care Alliance in Fairfield. You will be delivering a service providing high quality support to patients, delivering specialist clinical work as part of the multidisciplinary team with the voice outpatient settings.
In this role you will be required to:
路 Evaluate patients to identify speech, language, voice, fluency and swallowing disorders
路 Develop treatment plans based on assessment results and patient needs in order to improve speech, language the communication skills
路 Implement techniques to enhance articulation, fluency, voice quality and language comprehension and expression
路 Work with patients experiencing dysphagia to improve their ability to safely swallow food and liquids
What you鈥檒l need:
路 Recognised Speech and Language Therapy Degree Qualification or equivalent
路 Licence to Practice
路 Registered with HCPC
路 Dysphagia post graduate training and at least 2 years post grad experience of working with dysphagia
路 The successful candidate will need to be competent and confidant in preparing and using electronic information.
路 The post holder needs to have up to date IT skills and knowledge of Microsoft outlook and word.
路 A knowledge and /or experience of using RIO patient held record system would be of benefit.
路 Car for community work
In addition to experience, all Qualified roles will be required to provide evidence of:
- Relevant Qualifications
- Registration with the relevant Registration Body if applicable.
