Male sports coaches required in Bury

Cover People are actively looking for full time male sports coaches with UK based experience working with children, preferably aged 11-16 years old. The ideal candidate would have a relevant degree (BSc or MSc) OR coaching badges with recent experience.

 The school would welcome the right candidate in this week to meet them and discuss the role. The role is teaching KS3 male PE on a long term basis in a Good rated secondary school in the heart of Bury to cover a broad range of sports including football, rugby, softball, athletics and basketball. The school is often complimented for being a community-led school, offering support to families to give disadvantaged children a fair chance to achieve.

Requirements:

  • The ideal candidate a degree related to sports/PE or coaching equivalent
  • Recent experience teaching Physical Education within secondary schools or extensive sports coaching experience
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Passion to impact students to create a productive environment for students

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. The above vacancy is a temporary position. Occasionally, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date. We offer flexibility with this, as we understand some candidates may not wish to commit to a permanent contract.
