FULL & PART TIME HOURS CONSIDERED

Due to continued growth NJR Recruitment are working with a well-established Distributor supplying the retail industry who are now seeking an enthusiastic Shipping & Logistics Administrator r to join their team in North Manchester.

Duties include:

  • Management and maintenance of supplier critical path
  • Liaising with Far East, European and US suppliers
  • Reviewing shipment documents in line with timescales - cross checking all information with system for submitting too accounts
  • Understanding of commodity codes and classification of goods
  • Knowledge of FOB and DDP shipments, international customer documentation requirements and customer portals
  • Ensuring Supplier have all information queried for customer specific orders and that all customer requirements are adhered too and approved by the customer
  • Costing of airfreight and LCL shipments as and when required
  • Consolidating shipment of orders from various supplier to maximise shipments fills and costings
  • Understanding of customer forecast intakes and sell through would be a advantage
  • Other duties as required

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of shipping documents or requirements pre country of export
  • Strong time admin and time management skills
  • Excellent communication skills - cross departmental
  • Computer literate with Strong Excel skills VLOOKUP; formulas
  • Attention to detail
  • Must be proactive, able to use initiative.
