Due to continued growth NJR Recruitment are working with a well-established Distributor supplying the retail industry who are now seeking an enthusiastic Shipping & Logistics Administrator r to join their team in North Manchester.
Duties include:
- Management and maintenance of supplier critical path
- Liaising with Far East, European and US suppliers
- Reviewing shipment documents in line with timescales - cross checking all information with system for submitting too accounts
- Understanding of commodity codes and classification of goods
- Knowledge of FOB and DDP shipments, international customer documentation requirements and customer portals
- Ensuring Supplier have all information queried for customer specific orders and that all customer requirements are adhered too and approved by the customer
- Costing of airfreight and LCL shipments as and when required
- Consolidating shipment of orders from various supplier to maximise shipments fills and costings
- Understanding of customer forecast intakes and sell through would be a advantage
- Other duties as required
Requirements:
- Knowledge of shipping documents or requirements pre country of export
- Strong time admin and time management skills
- Excellent communication skills - cross departmental
- Computer literate with Strong Excel skills VLOOKUP; formulas
- Attention to detail
- Must be proactive, able to use initiative.
