Our client, a prestigious and unique institution based in Bushey, WD23 has an exciting opportunity to join their team as a Finance Manager.
In this varied and exciting opportunity, you will take ownership of the Finance Function ensuring the effective management of resources and compliance.
The successful candidate will be either an established Finance Manager however the institution is also readily eager to consider those with Finance experience looking to step into a Finance Manager role.
You will be entitled to a salary between £45-55k, dependent on experience as well as a generous benefits package. This opportunity offers Hybrid working.
The Role
- Prepare monthly accounts and develop cash flow forecasts
- Assist in setting budgets and monitor expenditure
- Draft Multi-year financial projections with the Bursar
- Coordinate Audits, prepare annual statements and address audit findings promptly
- Supervise finance assistants and oversee purchase orders, invoices, BACS
The Ideal Candidate
- Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting and audits
- Finance qualification (ACCA, ACA, CIMA) or Qualified by Experience
- Experience in Education, Charity or Not-for-profit sectors is desirable but not essential
- Excellent Excel Skills
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present financial data clearly
