About the Role:
We are seeking an inspiring teacher who is committed to delivering high-quality lessons in resistance materials, encouraging students to explore their creativity and technical abilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in design technology, particularly in working with wood, metal, plastics, and other materials commonly used in the field of resistance materials.
Key responsibilities will include:
Planning and delivering engaging lessons in resistance materials at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
Supporting and mentoring students in developing both theoretical knowledge and practical skills.
Assessing student progress and providing constructive feedback to help them achieve their best.
Maintaining a safe, supportive, and stimulating classroom environment.
Collaborating with other teachers to enhance cross-curricular learning experiences.
What Were Looking For:
A qualified teacher (QTS) with a passion for design technology and resistance materials.
Strong subject knowledge and experience with the teaching of resistant materials (wood, metal, plastics).
The ability to inspire students and foster a love of learning in a practical and creative environment.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
