Supply Desk are currently seeking an enthusiastic DT Teacher to join a vibrant secondary school based in Watford on a long-term contract possibly then leading into a permanent position. The role will be starting as soon as possible on a long-term basis. The successful candidate will be teaching DT - Resistant Materials.

The ideal candidate must be passionate about inspiring the next generation of innovators and creators? We are seeking a dynamic Design Technology (DT) Teacher who can ignite curiosity and creativity in our students. In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead hands-on projects that blend design, engineering, and technology, encouraging students to think critically and solve real-world problems.

The ideal candidate must:

  • Have the right to work within the UK
  • Have experience working within a classroom
  • DBS registered on the update system or willing to purchase one
  • Be comfortable and adaptable working in different environments
  • Good subject knowledge of DT curriculum
  • Have strong classroom management skills.
  • A QTS or PGCE or overseas trained teacher to UK equivalent
  • Marking and planning are compulsory with this role
