Quantity Surveyor | Bristol | Somerset | South West

Unite People is working with an established, specialist contractor to recruit a Quantity Surveyor to work with their commercial team on a full-time, salary basis in their Bridgwater South West Somerset office.

As the Quantity Surveyor. You will be working for a large organisation with a long history of working on projects in the construction and civil engineering industries. You will be working with an established team, that employs a number of Quantity Surveyors at all levels. Your role will entail office base 3 days per week and 2 days project based near Bristol.

The successful candidate will be working with an established group of clients with an impressive order book already going forward into 2025 & 2026. With company turnover expected to increase significantly. Your project in and around the Bristol area, is circa 8 years in duration. Providing the successful candidate with a long term base, close to home

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining commercial controls on projects
  • Monthly valuations
  • Cost to complete
  • Pricing and agreeing change
  • Close liaison and collaborative team work with the project teams

To excel in this role, you should possess:

  • A relevant qualification is preferred
  • Demonstrable working knowledge as a Quantity Surveyor
