About the Role
Are you a passionate and knowledgeable Biology Specialist ready to inspire the next generation of scientists? We are seeking a dedicated teacher comfortable teaching Biology up to and including Key Stage 4 (KS4). This is a fantastic opportunity to ignite students’ curiosity about the natural world and help them develop a deeper understanding of biological concepts in a supportive and stimulating learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Biology lessons aligned with the national curriculum, ensuring students develop a solid foundation in key concepts.
- Foster students’ critical thinking and analytical skills through practical experiments, discussions, and hands-on activities.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their academic growth.
- Create an inclusive and inspiring classroom environment where students feel encouraged to achieve their full potential.
- Stay updated with developments in Biology education to ensure the delivery of high-quality, current content.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a specialization in Biology.
- Experience teaching Biology at KS3 and KS4 levels.
- Strong subject knowledge and a commitment to student success.
- Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to adapt teaching approaches to meet diverse learner needs.
