We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Maths teacher. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about fostering a love for mathematics and committed to enhancing students' learning experiences. With a focus on skill development and academic excellence, you will play a crucial role in guiding students on their educational journeys.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Utilise effective classroom management strategies to foster a positive and productive learning environment.
  • Cater to the diverse abilities and learning needs of all students.
  • Incorporate technology and various resources into lesson plans to boost student engagement and comprehension.
  • Provide prompt and constructive feedback on assignments and assessments.
  • Stay updated on educational trends and research in mathematics instruction, integrating new methodologies into teaching practices.
  • Engage in professional development workshops and conferences to continually enhance teaching skills and remain current with educational standards.
  • Conduct parent-teacher conferences to discuss student progress, set goals, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with special education teachers and support staff to implement individualised education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
  • Organise and oversee extracurricular activities related to mathematics, such as math clubs and competitions

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have recent experience in teaching in schools
  • Strong knowledge of the UK math curricular
  • Degree and QTS Desirable (Unqualified Teachers also welcome to apply)
  • Be a committed team player
  • Be confident and adaptable to different environments
  • Have strong classroom management skills
