Operations ManagerJob Type: Full-time, Permanent Location: Buxton, Derbyshire Salary: £50,000 + Car SF Recruitment are working with a fantastic, industry leading, growing client who are requiring an Operations Manager to join their management team. You will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the team, ensuring all work is carried out to the highest standards and ensuring the department runs smoothly. You will work closely with the Operations Director and HR Manager to provide first line management for all operational staff, this is absolutely a people-focussed role. This role will play a key part in the business whilst also being critical in ensuring the company achieves its goals and objectives, as it will focus on improving performance, leading teams, and contributing to the overall success and growth of the business. Key Responsibilities:- Line Management responsibilities including on-boarding, absence, and performance management duties. - Lead Operation Meetings. - Effective management of daily operations tasks, planning requirements and administration activities. - Produce Monthly Operations Reports. - Plan, direct, and coordinate operations to ensure that the labour planning in efficient and complaint. - Plan and Manage Training Requirements. - Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency. - Build and maintain relationships with Key Stake holders. - Complete site visits for operational requirements. - Lead the way on recruitment and selection processes. - Manage and liaise with sub-contractor staff. - Manage daily operations, including inventory management and logistics. - Review and manage the apprenticeship programme. - Review H&S audits and manage the actions. - Travel to different sites to carry out operational reviews as and when required. - Control and manage spend on training, PPE and equipment. - Identify quality control issues and suggest solutions. Skills required: - Strong technical and management skills - Prior experience managing/supervising a team - Leadership & Management Qualification. - Proven track record on improving processes. - Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. - Strong organisation skills. - IOSH or comparable H&S Qualifications. - Full UK Driving Licence. - Proficiency in operating system e.g., ERP systems (Internal Systems), Microsoft Office Suite.
