Job Description

We are currently looking for a Senior Product Safety Engineer to join our team.

The candidate will  perform product safety testing on a variety of Electrical products, when required, to ensure delivery of testing services that meet clients requirements in accordance with the UKAS quality system. Additionally a Senior Product Safety Engineer will assist in business development as required and to provide specific technical support to expand the Company’s capability to offer valued services to clients.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you’ll need proven experience as an Electrical Safety Engineer or have experience in a similar role within a relevant industry, with recent experience in the use of test and measuring equipment (e.g. multimeters, oscilloscope).

In addition to the above you’ll also need to demonstrate the following;

  • In-depth knowledge of electrical safety standards, regulations, and testing methodologies.
  • Experience with electrical safety analysis tools and software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to ensuring the highest standards of electrical safety.
  • Professional certifications related to electrical safety are a plus.

 The following attributes would be desirable, but not essential;

  • Working knowledge of product safety standards e.g. EN 60335, EN 60598, EN 61558, EN 60745, EN 62368, EN 61010, EN 60601, etc.
  • Experience in quality management or quality assurance.
  • Work experience in the TIC industry.
  • Full Driving License for use in the UK
