We are a major Civil Engineering Group seeking to expand our commercial department with an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor or Quantity Surveyor. Join us on a high-profile, multi-million-pound project based in the picturesque region of Snowdonia.

This is a 9-figure value project, set to run until 2029, offering the successful candidate accommodation alongside a competitive package and significant scope for career progression.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing all costs related to civil engineering and infrastructure projects.
  • Overseeing financial management, including cost planning, procurement, and contract administration.
  • Collaborating with project teams to ensure commercial and contractual success.
  • Administering NEC contracts (strong experience in this area is a plus).
  • Supporting the project team with cost forecasting, change management, and financial reporting.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor, ideally within civil engineering.
  • Expertise in tunnelling would be highly advantageous.
  • Strong knowledge and experience with NEC contracts.
  • Excellent understanding of cost control, contract law, and risk management.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Willingness to be based on-site in Snowdonia for the duration of the project.
