Job Advertisement: Senior Quantity Surveyor / Quantity Surveyor
Location: Snowdonia, North Wales

We are a major Civil Engineering Group seeking to expand our commercial department with an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor or Quantity Surveyor. Join us on a high-profile, multi-million-pound project based in the picturesque region of Snowdonia.
This is a 9-figure value project, set to run until 2029, offering the successful candidate accommodation alongside a competitive package and significant scope for career progression.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing all costs related to civil engineering and infrastructure projects.
- Overseeing financial management, including cost planning, procurement, and contract administration.
- Collaborating with project teams to ensure commercial and contractual success.
- Administering NEC contracts (strong experience in this area is a plus).
- Supporting the project team with cost forecasting, change management, and financial reporting.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor, ideally within civil engineering.
- Expertise in tunnelling would be highly advantageous.
- Strong knowledge and experience with NEC contracts.
- Excellent understanding of cost control, contract law, and risk management.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Willingness to be based on-site in Snowdonia for the duration of the project.
