TSR Legal are pleased to be recuriting for a Residential Conveyancer to join a traditional, well-established law firm located in the heart of Caerphilly, known for delivering exceptional service to the community. The firm pride themselves in a supportive and structured environment, where experienced professionals can focus on quality service backed by dedicated teams. They are looking for an experienced Residential Conveyancer to manage a caseload of approximately 100 conveyancing files. This office-based role involves working closely with an immediate support team and leveraging remote administrative assistance. You will handle each transaction end-to-end while coordinating with other departments to ensure smooth and efficient file progress.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload of around 100 residential conveyancing files, including sales, purchases, remortgages, transfers of equity, and leasehold transactions.
  • Conduct title checks, draft and prepare contracts, and oversee all aspects of the conveyancing process.
  • Work closely with a dedicated assistant based on-site who will support day-to-day activities.
  • Collaborate remotely with the File Opening Team, who will manage initial file setup and compliance checks.
  • Utilise the Conveyancing Progression Team (CPT) for remote handling of various administrative tasks, including searches, mortgage offer requests, and general client updates.
  • Provide excellent service to clients, keeping them informed and addressing their queries in a timely and professional manner.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years' of fee earning experience in residential conveyancing, with a proven track record of managing a high caseload independently.
  • Ability to work efficiently in an office-based environment with support from both immediate and remote team members.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills to handle volume and maintain quality.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage client relationships.
