Catnic is a leading steel manufacturer with a focus on sustainability and a presence in Caerphilly since 1969. The successful applicant for the Customer Service Representative will be someone who can act as a key contact for stakeholders and is proactive, reliable and a team player.

Role - Customer Service Representative

Pay - 12.31ph

Location- Catnic Ltd/TATA, Pontypandy Industrial Estate, Caerphilly CF83 3GL

(100% office based)

Shift pattern- Mon-Fri, standard office hours (flexible)

Duration- 12 months

Responsibilities:

  • Offering customer support to stakeholders, both internal and external

  • Acting as a focal point for operational matters relating to customers

  • Creating sales order and processing promptly and accurately

  • Providing quotations to customers in a timely manner

  • Managing the input of orders and ensuring availability of product

  • Signposting stakeholders in the right direction for queries you are unable to resolve

  • Working with operations and logistics departments to successfully meet the needs of the customer

  • Recording and resolving customer complaints

  • Retrieving and storing proof of delivery

  • Being involved in customer service improvement interventions

  • Adhering to UK Health and Safety legislation and company policies relating to such at all times

  • Collaborating data into IT systems

Experience needed:

  • Prior experience in a customer facing administrative role

  • Previous experience working with numerical data

  • Capacity to operate with minimal supervision

  • Strong IT literacy skills with MS Office

  • Experience with in house IT systems

  • Confident telephone manner

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Excellent interpersonal skills

  • Exceptional attention to detail
