Main Duties:

  • Safely intake cream from tankers and collate tanker receipts
  • Perform cream testing prior to offloading
  • Use the SG stock control system
  • Pasteurise cream according to training/SOPs
  • Minimise waste at all times
  • Ensure tankers and silos are washed according to cleaning procedures (before and after use)
  • Oversee silo temperatures
  • Always ensure adherence to Critical Control Points (CCPs)
  • Report any problems or issues to senior personnel as they arise
  • Undertake any training provided
  • Complete all records and documentation accurately and in a timely manner

About You:

  • Experienced in the food manufacturing field
  • Quick learner with a sense of urgency
  • Able to communicate effectively with all staff, including the Head of Procurement, Drivers, QA/QC’s, Team Leaders, FSM, Buyers, etc.
  • Capable of inputting data onto paperwork and a computer
  • Able to work independently and carry out all tasks

Advantageous Skills:

  • Experience unloading tankers
  • Knowledge of the food industry
  • Pasteurisation knowledge
  • Banksman trained
