The Role:

  • Support the business targets by scheduling testing in an efficient manner to minimise interference and clashes in customer requirements
  • Testing electrical products in line with the requirements of the relevant standards
  • Provide support to the safety department
  • Maintenance and expansion of existing knowledge for Electrical Safety and Compliance
  • Identify ongoing training needs and deliver appropriate training for the Electrical Safety team ensuring maintenance of the skills matrix in order to support the current and future Electrical Safety UKAS and IECEE schedule
  • Electrical Safety report checking and approval
  • Ensure Electrical Safety calibration is performed in a timely manner and records are fully maintained

What you need?

  • A degree in related field or equivalent technical experience
  • Technical experience in a laboratory-based role in a similar field
  • Experience in an Electrical Safety role previously
  • Knowledge of ISO EN 17025 requirements and its practical application
  • Technical understanding of Electrical Safety
  • Knowledge and understanding of EMC would be beneficial
