Technical Architect - Caerphilly – up to £53,000 – 3 years Fixed Term Contract

VIQU have partnered with an organisation based within the public sector who are hiring for a Technical Architect to be able to understand and analyse the business’s technical requirements and aim to implement digital solutions for the wider business.

This role will initially start remote but will move to hybrid working towards the implementation phase half way through the project.

The right person will be comfortable wearing multiple hats and ideally come from a broad tech background across networking / infrastructure /cyber security and applications. This role can be open to individuals has previous experience leading projects but not as an architect.

Requirements of the Technical Architect:

-          Experience working as a Technical Architect, Lead Engineer, Project Engineer or similar position.

-          Varied technical background with a strong understanding of networking and infrastructure.

-          Strong technical background in Networking with knowledge of Cisco, HP or Aruba

-          Ability to communicate effectively to stakeholders.

-          Previous experience managing large scale projects, budgets and timeframes all focused on infrastructure.

-          Understanding of proof of concepts/prototyping practices.

Key Responsibilities of the Technical Architect:

-          Build / design a new infrastructure and network system.

-          Oversee the implementation of technical solutions surrounding infrastructure.

-          Critique and improve upon suggested infrastructure designs.

-          Work with a range of stakeholders to conclude on plans.
