Job Description:
We are looking for a compassionate, dedicated, and enthusiastic 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant and supportive team based local. This role will involve working closely with a specific student who requires additional support in their learning journey. You will be instrumental in helping them reach their full potential, providing tailored assistance in line with their individual needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide 1:1 support for a designated student, ensuring a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
Assist the student in accessing the curriculum and participating in classroom activities.
Work closely with the class teacher and special educational needs coordinator (SENCO) to implement individualized learning plans (ILPs) or Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).
Support the student with both academic and social development, encouraging positive behavior and independence.
Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the specific needs of the student.
Monitor and record the students progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents where necessary.
Assist with personal care tasks if required (e.g., feeding, toileting).
Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.

Hours: 8:30 - 3:30
Salary: GBP85 a day
