gap personnel have an exciting opportunity for a Night Team Leader to join an award-winning manufacturer based in Caerphilly, South Wales.

This is a full-time permanent position that is shift based around the needs of production.

Shift Pattern: 12-hour shift on a weekly rotation plan, 7-day fortnight (Night shift 6pm-6am). Shift premiums for weekends.

Key Accountabilities:

  • To manage a team, undertaking tasks to achieve the daily plan.
  • Ensure safe systems of work & instructions are followed at all times and that the team work in a safe manner.
  • Ensuring the team follow correct PPE procedures at all times.
  • Achieve KPI targets.
  • Follow clean as you go at all times.
  • Ensure area is up to audit standards at all times.
  • Ensuring customer specifications are followed at all times, enabling quality standards to be achieved.
  • Ensure safe systems of work & work instructions are being followed at all times and that the teamwork in a safe manner.

Essential

  • You must be able to work without direct supervision, be self-motivated, and have a real desire to get the correct result.
  • Ability to complete paperwork when required.
  • A passion to learn and understand machinery in area.
  • Good communicator and the have the ability to influence and develop team.
  • Experience of working in a team.
  • Have a good understanding of production.
  • Flexibility to cover absence and holidays.
  • Clean as you go mentality.
  • Adhere to quality standard
