Salary: 23,500 - 27K
Hours: Full Time. Flexibility can be discussed.
Location: Caerphilly. Hybrid after probation. 3 days in the office, 2 from home.

Overview:
A busy, multi-practice high street firm is seeking a Legal Assistant/Secretary with experience in Family Law to support two Fee Earners. The firm is fast-paced, so prior Family Law experience is highly preferred.
We welcome applications from candidates looking for a long-term secretarial/assistant role, as well as those eager to progress within the firm. The firm has a strong track record of offering training contracts to staff, and this could be an opportunity after gaining experience. For the first year or two, you will focus on the duties of the role, but with strong performance and growth, there will be the potential to take on your own caseload, fee earn, and become more involved in case management. The opportunities are endless here.
They have recently moved to a modern new office that has parking right outside.

Responsibilities may include:
* Assisting with client communication, including handling calls and emails, and scheduling appointments for matters such as divorce, financial disputes, and child custody issues.
* Preparing and organising documents for cases.
* General ad hoc tasks instructed by the solicitors.
* Drafting and proofreading legal correspondence, forms, and client letters.
* Managing and maintaining case files, ensuring that all relevant documents are up-to-date and accurately filed.
* Providing administrative support for meetings, hearings, and court appearances, including preparing case files and coordinating schedules.
* Liaising with clients, external agencies, and professionals to ensure smooth communication and timely progression of cases.
