We are looking to recruit for an administration / estimator to work within our client's busy offices just outside Cardiff. The main purpose of the role is to ensure quotations and technical submissions are on time and to convert to order.

We are looking for administrators with excellent mathematics or science based skills to work in a busy estimation department.

The role

  • Ensuring that all key information at enquiry stage is obtained to offer the best suitable solution to the client.
  • You will be able to confidently discuss information of a technical nature with customers.
  • You will be looking at building designs and ensuring are compliant with current regulations and industry best practice.
  • Support customers and colleagues to assist with resolution of technical enquiries.
  • Provide excellent customer service.
  • Provide technical support to the external sales teams and facilitate project progression by attending project meetings on site or via Teams.

Experience and Skills:

  • Excellent analytical skills, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
  • Good numerical skills
  • Excellent planning, organisation, and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software
  • A mathematical or science based advanced qualification, A levels, Degree, by experience.
