About the Role
Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated Welsh Teacher passionate about promoting the Welsh language and culture? We are seeking a committed and inspiring individual to join a secondary school in Caerphilly. This is a fantastic opportunity to help students develop their linguistic skills and deepen their understanding of Welsh heritage.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Welsh lessons in line with the national curriculum, from KS3 to KS5.
• Encourage students to develop their fluency, confidence, and appreciation of the Welsh language.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and tailored support to meet individual learning needs.
• Create an inclusive and dynamic classroom environment that fosters curiosity and a love for learning.
• Contribute to school-wide events and initiatives that celebrate Welsh culture and enhance the educational experience.

About You
We are looking for a passionate Welsh Teacher with a strong commitment to student success and the ability to inspire a love for the language.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a specialization in Welsh or a related subject.
• Proven experience teaching Welsh at the secondary school level.
• Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to adapt teaching strategies to diverse learners.
• A proactive and reflective approach to teaching, dedicated to fostering academic and personal growth in students.
• A commitment to engaging with the wider school community and promoting Welsh culture.
