We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Primary Teaching Assistant for a full time role based in a Primary School in Caerphilly. If you have prior experience working with children and possess a genuine enthusiasm for education, we would love to hear from you!

As a Primary Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the classroom teacher and facilitating an engaging learning environment for our students. Your responsibilities will include assisting with lesson preparation, providing support to students, and contributing to the overall development and well-being of the children.

Primary Teaching Assistant Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to the classroom teacher in delivering lessons and activities
  • Assist students with their learning, providing one-on-one support if needed
  • Help with the preparation and organisation of teaching materials and resources
  • Support the social and emotional development of students, promoting positive behaviour and well-being

Primary Teaching Assistant Requirements:

  • Prior experience working with children, preferably in a school or educational setting
  • A genuine passion for education and a desire to make a positive impact on students' lives
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and staff members
  • Patience, empathy, and the ability to build rapport with children of diverse backgrounds and abilities
  • A proactive attitude and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • A commitment to creating a safe and inclusive learning environment
  • Right to work in the Uk
