QualityEngineering Inspector - Part Time 2 days per week

May suit a recently retired Engineer 

You will be an experienced Quality technician or  Engineer  Hands on management of quality concerns and providing support for production areas. Experience gained in a quality role is essential. Incoming and outgoing  inspection control.

You must have the permanent right to work in the UK without company Sponsorship

  • Maintenance of inspection records and ERP processes.
  • Assist warehouse & materials with the identification of non-conforming product.
  • Inspection & analysis of suspect components/assemblies from production lines and stock disposition.
  • Analysis, verification & processing of production rejects, completion of reject records and scrap metrics.
  • Identifying improvement actions, waste reduction, contribute to continuous improvement programme.
  • Reporting and co-ordinating with SQA all supplier defects and concerns.
  • Processing of supplier rejects through Return to Vendor (RTV) process.
  • Support quality containment actions.
  • Manage and maintain the QA inspection areas.
  • Support internal sample inspection process & verification of product.
  • Support supplier PPAP verification process.
  • Support SQA activities, liaise with suppliers and supplier visits when required.
  • Adhere to defined quality processes in accordance to ISO9001.
