An exciting opportunity with a UK-wide business - a close client of mine are looking to recruit an Estimator. As an estimator, you will work within a small team and liaise with clients to produce cost estimation reports and quotations. The ideal candidate will have experience working within an estimating role in a construction or manufacturing background.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Liaising with clients to understand their needs, and subsequently prepare quotations for clients, laying out project costs and the justifications for these costs.
• Estimating all project-relevant costs, including labour, materials, and additional expenses.
• Liaise with suppliers to ensure cost efficiency is achieved for all projects.
• Visit client sites to gain measurements and assess risks for prospective projects.
• Coordinate with project managers and clients to set out project timelines, ensuring they are realistic and attainable.
• Maintain project logs and documents to record progress and retain estimates and other information.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

• An understanding of estimating, the candidate must have working knowledge of estimating processes, with related qualifications.
• The ideal candidate will have experience working in an estimating role within a manufacturing or construction background, specifically fencing.
• The candidate should hold a full valid UK driving licence as travel to client sites will be required as and when needed.
• Experience within a sales or customer-facing role is desirable due to the client communication element of the position.
