Account Assistant

About the Role:

I am seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Account Assistant to join a dynamic finance team. As an integral part of their operations, you will be responsible for managing various tasks, including account reconciliation, payment processing, and report generation.

Key Responsibilities: (not limited to the following)

  • Reconcile old account debts.
  • Manage purchase ledger activities.
  • Assist in processing finance house and client payments on the back-office system.
  • Support the Finance Director in preparing monthly management accounts.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to complete their duties as needed.
  • Undertake and participate in work-related projects as required.

Requirements:

  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • AAT qualification or equivalent experience preferred.
