We are looking for a Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) Specialist to join our successful company based just outside Cardiff the role is hybrid and 2 days per week in the office.

We are seeking a skilled SEO Specialist to enhance our company's online presence and drive organic traffic to digital platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of SEO strategies, keyword research, and on-page and off-page optimisation techniques within a business-to-business (B2B) environment. This role focuses on improving search engine rankings, increasing visibility, and delivering measurable improvements in organic performance and return on investment.

Duties
* Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies aligned with overall marketing objectives.
* Conduct thorough keyword research to identify high-performing opportunities and optimise content accordingly.
* Monitor, analyse, and improve search engine rankings and organic traffic.
* Optimise website content, meta descriptions, title tags, and header tags to align with target keywords and best practices.
* Ensure website pages follow technical SEO guidelines, including proper URL structures, image optimisation, and internal linking.
* Collaborate with content creators to develop SEO-friendly blogs, landing pages, and other digital content.
* Develop and implement link-building strategies to improve domain authority and organic visibility.
* Manage an SEO agency to support backlink strategies and ensure the acquisition of high-quality links.
* Conduct regular website audits to identify and resolve technical issues affecting SEO performance.
* Collaborate with web developers to implement technical improvements and site architecture enhancements.
* Use tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, and other SEO platforms to track, measure, and report on SEO performance.
* Provide insights and actionable recommendations based on data analysis to improve organic performance.
* Prepare regular reports on KPIs, including traffic, rankings, and conversions.


Skills needed:
* Proven experience as an SEO Specialist or similar role, with a strong focus on organic search performance.
* Demonstrated experience in a business-to-business setting is essential.
* In-depth knowledge of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and SEO best practices.
* Experience with SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or similar platforms.
* Strong technical SEO skills, including familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript basics.
* Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data sets.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to present findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
* Experience collaborating with content, design, and development teams.
* Knowledge of local SEO strategies and practices.
* Degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
* Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on SEO experience.
* Google Analytics certification is a plus.
