Your new schoolHays are working with a secondary school in Caerphilly with over 900 pupils to find a Science Teacher. The school encourages the pupils to take a proactive and creative approach to learning, allowing them to develop. The leadership team have a clear vision for the school and communicate it very well to create an inclusive ethos and a strong community feeling.Your new roleStarting ASAP, you will be a key part of the dedicated Science department, teaching a varied timetable including full teaching responsibilities such as:

  • Teach KS3 - KS5
  • Nurture a range of learning abilities
  • Staff meetings
  • Parent's evenings,
  • Pastoral responsibilities,
  • Planning and preparation of lessons
  • Marking and assessment.

  • Qualified teaching Status or PCET with Science experience
  • Experience of teaching science in a secondary school
  • Proven track record of helping students
  • Strong classroom management skills
