We are seeking a dedicated Cover Supervisor to join our team on an ad hoc basis. This role is ideal for someone who is flexible, enthusiastic about education, and ready to step in and manage classroom activities in the absence of the regular teaching staff.

Day-to-day of the role:- Supervise pupils engaged in learning activities, ensuring a constructive environment.
- Manage classroom behaviour and ensure that students remain on task with the work they have been set.
- Explain homework tasks and support students in understanding instructions given by the teacher.
- Maintain classroom records, cleanliness, and orderliness.
- Ensure the safety and safeguarding of pupils at all times.
- Assist with the preparation of the learning environment and the materials used.
- Experience in a similar role within an educational setting is preferred but not essential.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents.
- Flexible and adaptable approach to work.
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
