Reed Education Cardiff are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Learning Support Assistant for roles within a local primary school within Caerphilly.

As the Learning Support Assistant, you will be working with a collaborative and strong school staff, providing a safe and inspiring learning environment for pupils. You will also:

  • Be a patient, passionate and resilient individual, ideally with experience working within a primary school setting
  • Have experience supporting Social, Emotional Mental Health in young people with a positive and patient manner - desired
  • Be available as soon as possible for five days per week on an ongoing basis
  • Be open to working with individuals and small groups, as well as happy to work as a teaching assistant – dependant on the needs on the day
  • Have an Enhanced DBS (Child) on the Update Service – or be willing to obtain one
  • If you have experience or are trained in Makaton, this is highly desirable

The salary for this position is currently set between £80-95 per day. You will be paid on a weekly basis (the following Friday).
