Our client, a well-established organisation in the healthcare industry, is seeking a dedicated Business Support Officer to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work at the Board Level and provide comprehensive support to the Executive Directors, Chair, and Independent Members. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in facilitating smooth operations and ensuring the efficient execution of duties.

Key responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive support to the Executive Directors, Chair, and Independent Members in executing their duties at the Board Level.
Collaborate with various stakeholders to plan agendas, design committee work plans, and ensure the delivery of strategic priorities.
Manage Board and Executive level meetings, including the collation and dissemination of papers, accurate minute-taking, and action management.
Prepare monthly/quarterly reports, provide high-level support to specific work areas, and undertake tasks to meet the demands of the Executive Functions.
Analyse information from multiple sources and produce management information reports.
Ensure effective communication with staff, the public, and external parties while handling confidential and sensitive data.

Requirements:

Degree in a related subject such as Business Administration or equivalent experience working independently at Board Level.
Proven experience in a supervisory/managerial role, with expertise in Board and Committee Management.
Strong minute-taking skills and experience in communicating with various levels of staff and the public.
Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite and conducting project implementation and ongoing monitoring.
Excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work autonomously, manage workload, and prioritise tasks effectively.
Resilience, adaptability, and a positive attitude in challenging situations.
Demonstrated empathy, compassion, and respect for others.
Willingness to continuously learn and seek opportunities for development.
